And for home econs, revise your holiday homework,
and if you're not sure with what to revise, read the previous post.

Gd luck with the last 2 papers !

Eoyyyyyys ! || Back to top, baby.

Hello 1E1 !
Chloe here.
Year's almost ending, and I bet everyone's happy cause of Holidays etc,
and the fact that we don't need to study fr 2 months (ha.ha.ha).
But EOYs are just tomorrow, so study hard and do well k !
Sleep early, eat the right things,
don't over-tire yourself, and don't fall sick either.

Gd luck yes?
Hope tht everyone promotes to 2E next year :-)

Tips for exams:
English:
Read your article report stuff, memorize how to write your newspaper article, for paper 1.
Also, refer to your reading rites and know your mistakes about the comprehension and/or summary. Rmb how to write them, cause they might be tested in Paper 2.

Math:
We're tested on Chapers 1 - 16? Basically the whole of 1A and 1B.
Do the practice papers Mr G. gave us, and also the practices on the txbk.

Chinese(Normal):
For Paper 1, remember the layout of the si han.
Remember to use the address and name given by the question.
The address you write is YOUR address stated on the question paper,
not the recipient.
The question most probably tested would be about the mixing with bad friends, buying alot of branded goods one and the warning.
For Paper 2, Remember the meanings of the 1-50 Chengyu,
and read the words that Mr Li asked us to write down.
Comprehension shld be from one of the passages in Lu Zou.
Practice your Oral also (only after paper 1 and 2)

Science:
Physics: A1, A2, B1, F1, F2, F3, F4
Chem: C1, C2, C3, C4,
Bio: D3, D4, D5, D6.
Most impt chapters are in bold.
Please note that you do not need to remember the periodic table as it would be given as reference.

History:
Chapter 1-7. Read the notes Mr Pillai gave us, but also rmb to read your textbook cause the notes are just summaries of the chapters ! Remember how to do comparisms questions and inference questions also, and remember if they ask the question as "How similar/different are source A/B/C/whtever, you have to give both the similarities AND the differences.
And the question
"How far do you agree to this statement, "The ___ was the greatest inventions in India."
You have to answer as: "I agree to an extent." Then followed by why it is a great invention, but you also have to give another great invention by India. Understand? :D
Remember not to write CERTAIN cause he doesn't like that word (haha serious!)

Home Econs:
Refer to your Holiday assignment. If you know all that you should be able to pass. To get higher than pass, read and remember the points that Mrs Wong gave during the last Home Econs lesson. Please note that you do not need to rmb the serving sizes as it would be provided as reference.
Main points:
Chap 1 - Nutrition, Iron(page 7), Healthy Diet Pyramid, Serving Sizes.
Chap 2 - Functions of Carbohydrates/Proteins/Fats, Water soluble Vitamins: Functions and Defiency Diseases, Iron(page 24), Functions of dietry fibre,
Chap 3 - The need for energy, Energy balance.
Chap 4 - VMB, Other factores (Eg: methods of cooking, budget etc), Nutritional Needs of different groups of people.
Chap 5 - Reasons for cooking, Methods of cooking, Convection, Conduction, Radiation.
Chap 6 - Decision Making Skills, CASE STUDY, Budgeting, Methods of Payment.
Chap 7 - Consumer, Goods, Services, Services Providers, Consumer Rights and Responsibilites, Consumer Grievances.

Literature:
Literature will be tested on Unseen prose AND Thistle in the Donkey field.
Read your thistle in the donkey field, memorize the CHARACTERS and their JOBS.
Revise through your unseen prose. Unseen prose is somehow like comprehension, rmb that.
Do NOT write in point form for unseen prose. Write in FULL SENTENCES, or else marks will be deducted!
Ok, with (ALOT OF) all that... Hope you guys do well k.
!!!
